While we were driving to California for spring break, we had to stop on this two lane highway while construction was going on. This picture was supposed to be a simple "this is what we did" picture, but it turned out to be an action photo. Notice Grace in the upper right. I didn't know it at the time, but a tick had just lodged its head in her arm, and she couldn't get it out. As soon as I snapped this photo, she began screaming. We actually got lucky that the head didn't stay lodged in her arm.
