Oscar picks

Picture: No Country For Old Men
Director: Joel & Ethan Coen
Actor: Daniel Day-Lewis

Actress: Julie Christie
Supporting Actor: Javier Bardem
Supporting Actress: Cate Blanchett
Screenplay: Juno
Adapted Screenplay: No Country For Old Men

I am going against my inclinations--while the Academy often chooses some pretty lackluster fare, I think they're going to pretty much get it right this year.

Post your picks before Sunday night. Anybody who beats me, I'll buy 'em a beer.

See the nominees here.

You got 8 our of ten right, wow. Isn't it ironic that people are saying it was one of the most boring Oscar shows ever because no body knew who the winners were and the movies nominated were so dark.

I'm a little late to the party, but then I'm not very good at predicting these sorts of things anyways. Looks like you were mostly right on the money Eric. For me the most satisfying moment of the evening was when that brilliant song from "Once" beat out the Disney crapola trifecta.
