Happy Memorial Day Indeed

As reported by the Seattle P-I:
At Fort Lewis, home base for 118 of the 190 [Washington soldiers killed in the Iraq war]..., the rising rate [of soldiers being killed] prompted officials in May to consider switching from individual memorial services for each slain soldier to consolidated monthly remembrances.

I saw this covered on the news...shameful.

Just like the horrible conditions and vet overflow uncovered at Walter Reed earlier this year, it's obvious now that the infrastructure to attend to the needs of vets was not taking into consideration before the war. As was a lot of other "plans"...
