Subtlety

Last night my youngest daughter threw a penny into a wishing well. Afterwards, she said, "I'm not going to tell you what I wished for...."

....

....

"Except that it was about a pet...."

....

....

"...parakeet...."

....

....

"...I WANT A PET PARAKEET!"

This is a cute post, it reminds me of when my younger sister Bonnie gave up bananas for lent when she was a grade schooler. (She doesn't like bananas)

Glad to see you are reconsidering Demolition-a great album in my mind...

That Claire of yours cracks me up. Plus, I can see the difference in personalities between Claire and Grace contained in this post. Grace would have skipped the subtle hinting and would have gone straight to demanding a parakeet!

Actually, I think Grace would have outlined the five reasons a parakeet would be beneficial for her and her family. She also would have researched the cost and created a maintenance schedule for the bird.
P.S. She just won a pretty prestigious award for the Spokane Area Children's Chorus. She got the leadership award for the year. It was quite an honor for her. She has her life together better than I do. She'll do great things someday.

Pat,

As with almost all RA albums, Demolition has many heartbreakingly beautiful songs mixed with a few stinkers. Hallelujah is a great straightahead country rocker.
